Have two identical Tibetan Vajrayana (Tantric) Buddhist ritual implement phurba daggers. Both metal daggers were made by the ancient lost wax method by skilled Tibetan refugee craftsmen in Nepal. The phurba is a triple sided Tibetan ritual dagger or stake. The segments and the triple blade represent the three spirit worlds, while the phurba as a whole symbolizes the "worlds axis" bringing all three worlds together. This ritual Buddhist dagger or dart symbolizes the slaying or destruction of foe or obstructions. Both phurbas are silver in color with copper color details. They were made with a silver color alloy. NOT MADE FROM SILVER. They are in excellent condition with no scratches or nicks. Size: 8 1/2 inches long. Originally purchased at the Tibetan Cultural Center in Bloomington, Indiana in mid xxxx's. NOT OLD OR ANTIQUE.
